Blanche and Bentley

At the end of March 2021, I got caught a bit by surprise when Blanche came into heat during the Covid-19 pandemic. The original plan was to send her again to Saskatoon for a repeat breeding with Casey, but all the flights there have been changed and made very complicated. So after talking with everybody involved, we decided to switch breeding plans and I ended up with Bentley here for one week, which pleased me a lot.

So on June 11 2021, four days after her planned due date, six puppies were bord, for males and two females.

Born Mar 20, 2015, Bentley finished his Championship handily taking Best of Breed every time and a Group second in his very first all breed show. He won Best in Specialty Show in 2019 over many worthy Flatcoats under breeder judge Kirsi Nieminen from Finland! Judges Comments : Racy dog with lovely outlines, so balanced all over, excellent topline, masculine elegant head, excellent neck & shoulders, excellent body, well angulated front & rear, moves with drive. Beautiful breedtype, never stops showing. Bentley is a drivey but well mannered boy with a very sweet dispostion.

Blanche is the result of the second line-breeding in Knightcastle's history. She is very active and has a lot of energy. Since de departure of her father Forrest, she took her place in the pack as my second oldest dog in the house. I always wanted a second Céleste, Blanche is as beautiful as her grand-mother, which pleases me a lot! Future looks good for Knightcatle with her and the 'Romantics' litter.
