Darwin & Hopper

Part of Knightcastle's third generation, the next chapter in Knightcastle's history is being written by Miss Hopper, who currently lives in Vermont with co-owner Gordon W Miller.

Hopper is probably one of the best females coming out of my kennel. She is very stylish, has really good bones, beautiful eyes and a stunning head, like her mother Céleste and her dad, Todd. She is very soft but has lots of energy when needed.

Hopper made her Canadian Championship really fast, always shown by me in the 'Bred by Exhibitor' class. She also did her American Championship the same way, always taking majors.

So for her first litter, I was lucky to find a male near me who has a pedigree similar to what made Knightcastle's name over the years.

About Darwin (from his owner, Marla Jeanne Doheny): He has an exuberant personality that is always kind. Loves to work, loves to play. Very biddable.

8 puppies were delivered as schedule on November 18: 5 males and 3 females.

From this litter I kept a little girl, Cosette (Knightcastle Honora Prévost DJ), named after my grand-mother, who was a great pianist and music teacher. In the pure Knightcastle tradition, she was wearing the yellow collar but she spent only 3 years with me. Cosette passed away in January 2020 from kidney failure.

The star of this litter is little Cash (Knightcastle The Man in Black). At eighteen months old, he already had five field titles, including Master Hunter, title earned in July 2023! I have to thank onwer Carlee Ogeka for that. She also owns Parker, a Knightcastle Ambassador. Since October 2019, Cash is available as stud dog for selected bitches, he has completed all the necessary requirements by the OFA. You can see Cash's record following this link.
