Cosmo & Blanche

The next chapter in Knightcastle's and start of the fourth generation is written by Miss Blanche (Can CH Knightcastle Seven Of Nine).

I'm going totally out of the kind of pedigree I usually work with. The main reason for that is to introduce again British bloodlines, following Hopper's litter of 2016. With all the hard work and good dogs behind my little Blanche, I wanted the same for her first boyfriend and this is how Cosmo (Fieldday Kurios) came in the picture. Back in 2001, I got my first flatcoat, Darwin (Can OTCHX Fieldday Charles Darwin JH WCI CGN HIT DiscDog / Am CDX), from Fieldday Kennel.

According to Cosmo's breeder, he's a typical active and enthusiastic Flatcoat without being over exhuberant. This affectionate, sweet and happy boy fits right in wherever he goes, respectful of the other dogs when joining in their play and the best big brother to puppies… and children too. His motto is to please!

Speaking of Blanche, she has become a special dog, taking an active and serious role in my pack. Over time, she lost her grand-mother Céleste and her uncle Baxter, replacing them with grace and she's also educating her cousin Cosette! She's a well balanced female with a flawless temperament and has an awesome head.

Blanche passed successfully all her health clearances, including gonioscopy, and is ready for her first litter. She was bred three times to Cosmo in mid-february 2018. The 'Peter Pan' litter arrived as scheduled on April 19th. As usual, black puppies only. Blanche delivered 3 males and 5 females.

All puppies are spoken for.

Pedigree

Commitment to the breed

Each litter is carefully planned considering the quality, health clearances, the pedigree and also the accomplishments of the dogs involved. Knightcastle is not breeding for one specific goal or purpose and has a litter on the ground mainly to fulfill its own requirement, not to accommodate the demands.
