Todd & Céleste

Four boys and four girls were born on a long morning of March 26 2012 after 65 days. Céleste was exhausted.

For Céleste's third and last litter I went with something very special that I had in mind but did not think possible until I met Todd in Maryland in 2011: the first North American combination of the Italian ‘Serilde’ bloodlines. Todd is the son of Serilde Qualcosadatenere (Kai) and Céleste, the daughter Serilde Velenocelestiale (Bowie).

This litter gave me stylish and graceful puppies, full of energy and tenderness at the same time, but also great working dogs and excellent representatives for the breed.

Over time, I consider that this litter might be Knightcastle's best one! Here's why:

Kia (Can Ch Knightcastle Beatrix Potter DD). She is the pick of that litter. She lives with my long time friend Brenda Kearns near Ottawa and will be part of her breeding program one day.

Parker (HR UH Knightcastle Sir Isaac Newton SH WCX CGC). He lives in Long Island (NY) with Carlee. He obtained his 'Started Hunting Retriever' title on June 2 2013 and his AKC Junior Hunter title a bit after. In May 2014 he earned his WCX. In summer of 2016, he earned his Senior Hunter (SH) title and also his Hunting Retriever (HR) the same week end.

Hopper (Am/Can CH Knightcastle Graceful Hopper). She wore the lime collar and now lives in Vermont with long time flatcoat owner Gordon W Miller. She completed her Canadian Championship in 2015, every time presented by me in the 'Bred by Exhibitor' class. In July 2016, she completed her American Championship mostly with majors. On November 18 2016, Hopper gave birth to eignt healthy puppies for the 'Great Musicians' litter. I'm very proud of her!

Storm (MACH Knightcastle Isaac's Storm MX MXJ OF BN). She was my little orange girl. A very active and complete girl with lots of will to please, she lives now in Michigan with her owner Kathy and will compete one day with her big sister Raven. Storm completed her Master Agility Champion title (MACH) on April 23 2016.!

Commitment to the breed

Each litter is carefully planned considering the quality, health clearances, the pedigree and also the accomplishments of the dogs involved. Knightcastle is not breeding for one specific goal or purpose and has a litter on the ground mainly to fulfill its own requirement, not to accommodate the demands.
